POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Sales Director to lead the company’s sales strategy and execution. This is a pivotal role for AACS and will serve as the spearhead of our commercial efforts, playing a critical role in building out our sales infrastructure, policies, and revenue pipeline. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and capable of operating with autonomy in a startup environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for aircraft parts and engine transactions, aligned with AACS’s growth objectives.
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of airline, MRO, OEM, and lessor customers.
- Establish internal sales procedures, CRM protocols, and performance metrics to support scalable growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set targets, pricing strategy, and customer engagement practices.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance departments.
- Lead negotiations and close commercial deals with new and existing customers.
- Represent AACS at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Generate market intelligence to inform inventory decisions and emerging opportunities.
- Help with the valuation of asset purchases by utilizing deep understanding of market values for individual components
- Help build and eventually lead a high-performing sales team as the company scales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; preference for degrees in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the aviation or aerospace industry, preferably in aircraft parts, engines, or component sales.
- Demonstrated success in business development, account management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft parts supply chain, engine platforms, and aftermarket industry dynamics.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry databases (e.g., ILS, PartsBase, and Quantum) is a plus.
